Do you have some favorite calculator activities for your mathematics classroom?

Do you have other valuable math activities you would like to share?

 

Come to our retreat; enjoy Puget Sound beaches and vista while you learn how to get your teaching ideas published!

 

No prior writing experience required - just bring your ideas!

During the three and a half days you will write about classroom activities. We will assist you with writing and editing your ideas into articles and then publishing them in WSMC's journal Washington Mathematics or in a special topics publication on calculators in mathematics that is planned for next year. Computers and printers will be available for all participants.

Stay in Alumni House, a 100-year old Victorian house on Puget Sound at Camp Casey Conference Center near Coupeville. Two family campgrounds are nearby for those who wish to camp.

 

Cost: Free !!! Lodging and meals provided by Washington State Mathematics Council.

Time Schedule:

Arrival: 2 p.m. Monday August 9

Departure: 2 p.m. Thursday August 12
